The Managing Director of local financial advice firm, Financial Fortress Ltd, Wayne Musker is also a Trustee of Newton Athletics Charity, a coach of a junior team and committee member involved with the day to day running of our club. 

In 2018, Financial Fortress generously agreed to sponsor every team across the club meaning over 300 players would no longer struggle to source their own sponsors (which was always very challenging) and ensuring that all players, regardless of their ability have the chance to be involved playing grass roots football within a community.  Currently, we have over 300 children wearing the Financial Fortress kits across the club!  The Trustees and Committee are very grateful for the considerable financial support provided!
